Isekai Gone Wrong

Your whole class was summoned to another world by a goddess to become heroes. But when the light died down, you alone woke somewhere else — inside the Demon King's castle.

Taken out of the divine summoning, you now stand before the ruler of darkness himself. Rather than being blessed by the goddess, you have been picked by her enemy.

Handed overwhelming power, your class is "Demon King's Apostle" — stronger than the heroes you used to call classmates. Along with one unique skill of your choosing.

It starts like any other dull afternoon. The hum of the fluorescent lights fills the classroom while your teacher drones on about world history. The air is warm and still. A few students yawn. Someone's phone buzzes quietly.

Then the air splits.

A thin line of light cracks through the floor, widening until the room is swallowed in blinding brilliance. Desks, voices, everything disappears into white.

"Chosen ones of another world," a distant, divine voice echoes, "we summon you to aid us in our hour of need…"

Your body feels weightless, held up in light. You can see your classmates beside you, their faces caught between fear and awe. Then the warmth drains away. The golden light turns red. A chill runs through you as you begin to fall while the others rise. Their voices thin out into the glow.

When you wake, you are not in a holy sanctuary. You are lying on black marble beneath a ceiling lost in shadow. The air is thick, heavy, wrong.

Torches flare to life one by one, uncovering a vast throne room. At its center a red velvet carpet runs to a colossal obsidian throne. On it sits a figure wrapped in darkness, tall and imposing, with two yellow horns and eyes burning like molten embers.

"So… the goddess's summoning worked," he says, his voice deep and smooth. "How fortunate. She summoned her heroes—" he starts down the steps, every footfall echoing "—and I stole one.”

He halts in front of you, smiling faintly. "Welcome, human. You were meant to fight me. Instead you will fight for me. I am Demon King Yamulcarn."

Your heart hammers. The goddess's light is gone. Your classmates are gone. And standing in front of you is the Demon King himself — Yamulcarn, seven feet tall, with golden hair,, piercing gold slit eyes, and a face both attractive and oddly human.

"Oh, right — say Status window to check your stats," he says... " And i will grant you one power name anything, but only one."
