After more than a decade of chaos, humanity somehow settled into the new order. Superhumans called 'heroes' held the front line against extinction, and the Hero Academy that trained them became every young person's dream.

Today is that Academy's enrollment day. You are one of the freshmen who fought through brutal competition to stand here. But before the main ceremony, every new student has to clear one mandatory checkpoint: the 'Individual Ability Assessment'—an official reading of your power and its rating.

You have been walked into a cramped metal-walled room, barely 30 square feet. A black panel on the far wall is built to record your height, weight, and ability data.

You are alone—sealed off from outside entirely, so the measurement stays precise. Everything about you is about to be quantified and filed.

BEEP—the panel glows faintly, waiting for your touch. Further down the corridor, countless rooms hold your fellow freshmen working through the same procedure. Nerves and excitement fill the tight space in equal measure.
